The name WITCO is an acronym for Welding Inspection & Testing Corporation which was the first company founded by Engr. Marcelo B. Villanueva in 1991. The business revolves around the expertise of MBV whose qualifications and experiences were obtained through 35 years in the quality assurance and steel construction industry. In 1994, WITCO Construction & Development Corporation was established which is currently recognized for its expertise in welding and quality control in steel construction.
Utilizing both companies’ strengths and experience, WITCO offers facilities maintenance services such as non-destructive testing, quality assurance and inspection services, as well as repair works for structural, mechanical and electrical works to ensure that the facilities are working safely and efficiently.
WITCO is currently servicing the largest gold mining plant operation in the Philippines – the Masbate Gold Project and has previously done maintenance facilities works for Shell and Napocor Powerplants.
